Karimizu Mineral Spring is located about 200 meters north of the Obama Town History Museum.
Only the carbon dioxide is released from the sulfide spring into the shallow groundwater, and a small amount of hydrogen sulfide is contained in this spring water.
Its temperature is below 30 degrees Centigrade, and it is the only cold spring in the Obama area where most of its hot springs are around 100 degrees Centigrade.
