Arima Christian Heritage Museum
Arima Christian Heritage Museum exhibits the materials related to the excavation on "Hara Castle Ruins", a component of the "Hidden Christian Sites in the Nagasaki Region" registered as a World Cultural Heritage in 2018, and various artifacts of the rebels fought in the Shimabara Rebellion. Other exhibitions include the materials related to "Hinoe Castle Ruins" disignated as a national historical site and "Arima Seminario", a seminary served as the backbone of Christianity. You can learn about history of harsh repression of Christians and their hiding in Nagasaki and Amakusa areas.
